However, the broader indices showed a mixed picture, with Nifty Mid-Cap is marginally lower by by 0.11 per cent and Nifty Small-Cap moderately higher by 0.20 per cent.
India VIX, a measure of market volatility, witnessed a marginal increase of 2.09 per cent, suggesting a slight uptick in market uncertainty.
In terms of individual stocks, NTPC, L&T, and Tata Motors were among the Top Gainers, whereas Sun Pharma, Grasim, and JSW Steel were among the Top Losers in the Nifty 50.
Overall market sentiment appeared positive, with advancing stocks outnumbering declining ones, with about 1,500 stocks advancing against 1,572 declining stocks.
